These are projects funded from foreign sources, most often from the European Union budget (e.g. operational programmes, Erasmus+, European Research Area projects). For operational programmes, the competition conditions are defined by the authority that administers the programme after approval by the European Commission. For other programmes, such as the Erasmus+ or ERA projects, Czech applicants are subject to more demanding conditions of international competitions, making these foreign projects even more worthwhile.
