Working with human capital in the 21st century requires new approaches to the training of future employees, the development of their key competencies, critical thinking, the ability to adapt to different situations, mutual cooperation and intercultural communication skills. The issue of critical events closely relates to this development in both professional and private lives of current society.
The project – Critical Incidents in Intercultural Communication and Promoting Diversity – will mainly focus, during the planned three-year period, on such events from a corporate environment that significantly contribute to personal development.
Research will be carried out with the aim of gaining such events from practical everyday life and work experience, and based on their analysis, the ways will be proposed how to use their positive potential for the development of personality and corporate culture. The project will involve students at all levels of higher education as well as members of the academic community who will work in an international environment, cooperate with firms and companies, apply and further develop their theoretical knowledge alongside their language skills, soft skills and multicultural awareness.
An international consortium of universities will participate in the project.
The results of the project will be presented during the planned international conference in 2023.
