New MBA programme at ŠKODA AUTO University

​20th September 2017. ŠKODA AUTO University is now admitting students for its new MBA programme Global Management in the Automotive Industry. The programme has been prepared in cooperation not only with foreign universities, but also with multinational companies, the Automotive Industry Association and the German-Czech Chamber of Industry and Commerce.  It is a prestigious programme grounded in the context of the automotive industry. Courses will start in December 2017 in the office of the German-Czech Chamber of Industry and Commerce on Wenceslas Square.

​The MBA programme Global Management in the Automotive Industry of ŠKODA AUTO University is a lifelong learning programme focused on the needs and perspectives of career-oriented professionals in the automotive industry. The goal of the programme is to develop the knowledge and skills of future international leaders in the automotive industry. The programme offers a significant career incentive to students with a global focus, open approach to the world and a high degree of curiosity. In addition to lectures given by leading Czech and foreign lecturers, the programme also includes a study visit abroad with visits to companies to allow for better understanding of the industry. There will also be a weekend of outdoor training to develop the potential and knowledge of students.


“MBA focused on the automotive industry is a recent innovation in the MBA programmes on offer in the Czech Republic. It is a specifically designed study programme, which not only develops the professional and personal skills of students, but also allows them to network with representatives of other automotive-focused companies,” says Pavel Mertlík, the Rector.


“The programme will be taught entirely in English by a team of world-renowned experts. We are very pleased that students will be able to meet experts like Prof. Günther Singer from the Swiss HSO Executive Business School or Dr. Ameeta Jaiswal-Dale from the US University of St. Thomas. The international dimension will be supported even more by the intensive study visit abroad, which will be an integral part of the programme,” adds Pavel Štrach, the director of the MBA programme.


Applications can be submitted after 20th September 2017. The programme Global Management in the Automotive Industry will start in December 2017 at ŠKODA AUTO University.


Lectures will take place in the centre of Prague in the form of weekend seminars starting on Friday afternoons. The programme is accredited by the international accreditation association ACBSP and by the Czech association CAMBAS.
