International Department

The development of international cooperation is one of ŠKODA AUTO University's main priorities. A key activity is the creation of a closely cooperating network of centres that focus on the collaboration of industry and business practice, on globalised branches and markets, embracing the goals and values shared by ŠKODA AUTO University. This development is greatly supported by active participation of academics from specialised departments, seminar activities at partner schools abroad, guest speaker lectures, joint research projects, conferences and seminars. An integral part of successful cooperation is motivated students who actively participate in projects of international cooperation.
 
The International Office of ŠKODA AUTO University is responsible for international activities and the development of international cooperation.
 
Activities include:
 

 Organization of international educational activities of students, teachers and employees of ŠKODA AUTO University.

 

 Coordination of projects within the EU Erasmus programme, such as mobility, intensive programs and EILC.

 

Collaboration within the Global inter-university collaboration.

 

 Preparation of international agreements on inter-university cooperation, bilateral Erasmus agreements.

 

 Administration of double-degree programs at all levels of studies.
 
 Information service for all students and employees concerning international programs, courses, scholarships and grants. Mediation of contacts for students, academicians and employees.
 
 Mediation of contacts for students, academics and staff.

 Administration of visits abroad, receiving and processing applications; preparation of study, work and financial agreements, monitoring visits, processing outputs.
 

Information service for foreign applicants to all programs of ŠKODA AUTO University.

 

 Consultancy and care for foreign students, teachers and guests.

 

 Assistance for foreign applicants and students in the matter of visas and recognition of foreign education and qualifications.

 

 Organization of EILC and summer schools.

 

 Issue of foreign-language information materials for incoming students and the wider publi

 

 Preparation and participation in international fairs and cooperation in recruiting students abroad.

 

 Organization of side social, cultural, sports and leisure activities for foreign students.
