ERASMUS CONDITIONS

 

Students who would like to participate in studies/work placement abroad must be enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s , Master’s or Doctoral degree programme at the university.

 

Possible forms of study include full-time and combined forms of study.

 

Students participating in study visits or work placements must be enrolled in the second year of their studies at least.

 

Students can be of any nationality.

DATABASE OF FINAL REPORTS
 
The database is used to complete reports from study visits and work placements. It contains reports from students who have already completed their study visits or work placements abroad. The reports can serve as a unique source of information that you can use when deciding which foreign university to choose.

NATIONAL AGENCY FOR EUROPEAN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES (NAEP)
 
NAEP as a part of the Centre for International Services, coordinates educational programs of international cooperation. The aim is to create an information system for EU educational programmes and other international activities. NAEP provides information and consulting services related to assigned programmes, organises national and international seminars and conferences, promotes Czech education abroad and publishes informational materials.

Study visit

Step 1 - Check the conditions for study visits
Make sure you meet the qualifying conditions for an Erasmus study visit.
 
Step 2 - Choose a partner university
Choose a partner university at which you intend to study.
 
Step 3 - Application for studies abroad submission 
Complete the application form, following the correct guidelines and submit it by 31st December 2016. Applications are for the whole of the following academic year (both the winter and the summer semesters). Check the fund amounts for your chosen destination. 
 
Step 4 - Selection procedure
The procedure includes an interview by a committee composed of representatives from the offices of the vice-rector for international affairs and the vice-rector for student affairs, and also representatives of the international office, the department of languages and the student union.

Language skills - English / German language B1+, another language a great advantage
Study results
Good tuition payment history
Participation in the programme for international students at ŠKODA AUTO University
Participatiom in school leisure activities
Other competencies, knowledge and skills, extra activities/representation of ŠKODA AUTO University
Own motivation
 
Selection process results will be published on the AIS and individual students will also be informed of the results. The results include a transparent justification for admission/non-admission to the programme.
 
Step 5 - Visit administration
Visits abroad are coordinated by ŠKODA AUTO University together with the target institutions. Fill in Learning Agreement. Details and all necessary information will be provided to you by your Erasmus Coordinator from the International Office at ŠKODA AUTO University
 
Step 6 - What to do after returning
After their return, students submit a list of study results, confirmation of the study visit length and complete a final report in the database of students´ final reports.

Internships

Step 1 - Check the conditions for work placements
Make sure you meet the qualifying conditions for an Erasmus work placement.
 
Step 2 - Choose an organisation
Choose an organization for your work placement. The list can be found on the Partner Institutions, also in an updated form on the AIS bulletin board, or can be looked up individually. If you do not intend to apply for any of the work placement offers and are waiting for more to come up in the following weeks/months, please express your interest in a work placement by sending an e-mail to anastasia.akinina@savs.cz by 31st December 2016 (for the purposes of advance grant reservation).
 
Step 3 - Application for work placement abroad submission 
Complete the application form and submit it following the instructions. Check the fund amounts for your chosen destination.
